Does anyone know how I get buy/sell turned on? I paid via PayPal back on April 5th but it’s never been turned on and I’ve sent a few emails/PM’s to see what I need to do. Am I missing something?

However, the feature does not seem to quite work. When a match appears I get a PM, but that PM is vieweable only by visiting fredmiranda.com. With other PMs I get an email notification of a new PM, but not with B&S matches. In addition, despite checking the "Notify with SMS" box, I never receive any notifications.
Fred has never responded to any requests for technical support that I have sent (I have two orphaned quote notifications that have been there for 3 years, and I can't get rid of), and I don't expect this to change in this case. His website is one of the few places where I hang out, but it sure would be nice if there was some type of response when subscribing members need a bit of help. This is precisely the reason why I do not maintain a continuous subscription - it seems that other than access to B&S a subscription gives you nothing else, so I buy one just when I have something to sell....Show more →
A few years ago I used to get both an email and an SMS notification of a PM for this feature. Now I get an email notification of regular PMs but not for my B&S watchlist PMs and no SMS for either. I like FM a lot and maintain a subscription but it would be even better if this feature worked as intended!

I’m jumping over to this section to ask about this. I have multiple watchlists but never get an email alert for them, just non-watchlist pms. Also I received a watchlist alert an hour after something was posted to the B&S section rather than at the moment it was posted or within a couple minutes of the system being alerted to the post. Is there something I’m missing or is the watchlist alert system a useless feature of the paid memberships? Also whenever I try to turn off SMS alerts it saves, reloads the page and SMS is still ticked on.
It would be quite useful for those that do not have a subscription to be able to use a watch list. While I understand that a lot of people here utilize Buy and Sell a lot, there are some of use that just need to buy versus needing to sell. So having to monitor the forum every day is time consuming. I am also cognizant of the fact that this is very much a first world problem. If we all could have access to it, it would be convenient for more casual users of the site. Just my $0.02.
