Thanks teh_rebel for posting the link to my initial look at the 12mm on the Fuji. I will run some more tests and try and get ahold of another. Other than yellow cast it is a nice lens especially for the price. I will also do some nighttime star shots, hopefully this weekend depending on weather. The star trails etc is one of the main reason I was interested in the lens.

Thanks for the review!! Please post more tests whenever you get the chance and if the yellow cast problem still appears if you can get a hold of another copy. From initial reviews, it seems like a good and cheaper alternative for wide angle. I would love to get the Fuji 14mm but since I don't shoot that wide all that often, going with the cheaper rokinon 12 would be better for me, save the money for the 56mm
So I received my lens today. So far I am very happy about it. There is a lot of chromatic aberration, but lightroom makes it completely disappear so I'm not worried about it.
I've taken a set of pictures to test the four corners of my lens. I think the pictures were taken at f/5.6 but of course I forgot by now... Shot raw with the a6000, with everything left by default in LR except autotone and cropping of course.
I've also zoomed on the bottom right corner in each pictures to see how they performed a little closer.
Mandatory cat picture (missed the focus on that one). I think that's sharp enough for me and the SS is only 1/8 so it's not freezed enough, but I wanted to keep the ISO low.
I've seen some pictures that are really not doing justice to this lens. I think lots of people are missing focus and the sharpness seems to be much lower than it actually is. Took 1 picture at f/5.6. The bottom part was underexposed and brought up by about two stops, so it's a bit noisy and the chromatic aberration (which is already strong) is further increased.
Have you tried blattworld1 on ebay? Got it from them. You can make an offer to get it cheaper. Got mine for 15% off, so try offering 20% less and see if that goes through.

I have not. Good call. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
