Here are my next 3 entries to this amazing thread.
The first is from Haines and is another from the last day I was there during the beautiful early light. Nothing beats watching these eagles bank in right in front of you to land on a fresh Chum salmon.
The second is from April at Swan Haven on Marsh Lake about 20min outside of Whitehorse. Every April about 1200 Trumpeters and 800 Tundra swans stop by this area as it is shallow and unfrozen early. A good place to rest, feed and get their photo taken
The last is a juvenile bald eagle in some nice rim light again from some very early light just coming over the mountains and shot close to town in Whitehorse. I liked how it made the wings glow.
