Very nice third round set Lance, the owl looks surprised to see you Love the background in that shot.
Super job Ken, it looks like you lulled the turtle into submission I like them all, what a varied and excellent set
Love the set Brian, the gathering of eagles sure must have been a treat to see. Love the feel to the heron shot
I was hoping you would post more Kruk! Wow these surely do not disappoint!! They are all sooo gooood, pure eye candy and the type of shots we should all strive for. So hard to pick but the breeding avocet with the necklace of water may just have the edge
Great to see you with another round Khai! And what a set, so hard to pick from but the bunting with that background, the water, wow what a setup Top notch my friend!
Three excellent shots Brian, all are superb with extra technical points for the 1 & 2

Round 3....almost missed it....here are 3 more from a great 2013!!
1) One more from Haines AK, loved shooting here and can't believe I never went in prior years. This shot I enjoyed as it shows the incredible wingspan of the Northern Bald Eagle.
2) I was sitting underneath the local eagle's nest waiting for flight shots of the fledglings when this guy scampered right up beside me....mushroom soup was on the menu
3) Surprisingly, Whitehorse attracts these beautiful waxwings in the dead of winter. 100s were in downtown eating the numerous mountain ash berries.

Geoff nice of you to drop in a floral
Morris #1 and #3 are just lovely!
Brian just super on the Eagle over her chicks and the Burrowing Owl !
my good friend Khai.......gosh good to see such a wonderful BOA (Bird of Paradise), not at all an easy subject to get isolated for me but man you did this one justice, it is a beauty! That Painted Bunting is a knockout image, superb color and great low low angle! Gotta say you did a super job on that pose of the Godwit, I love everything about this one buddy

Tim Kuhn,
I agree 100% percent with Charlie... this thread (like so many here on FM) is full of
eye pleasing images of unique subject's from all over.
It's one thing just to scroll through them all ..but to take the time to list, comment and
encourage to the degree that you have deserves recognition.
You never know.. it just may be the determining factor in someone's decision to participate
or deliver the motivation to just get outside with their camera and enjoy nature.. and maybe even be fortunate
enough to bring home a keeper or two.

A big thanks to you too BeeBalm.. you are another huge boost for this thread and the forum as a whole... like so
many other talented photographers found here.
Seeing all these wonderful images being posted is very inspiring... geez I've already caught myself scavenging around the house looking for stuff to sell to fund longer glass and possibly a crop body too...
