It really does appear that there was a conversation going on here Eric but I think it was about the size of your lens.............or possibly Tims
looks like the Sea Eagle earned the respect of the others here to hear him out at story telling time!
I like it
Karl
Thanks Karl...and I did hear a little snickering when they were talking about our reach...but I guess they are used to 5 legged elephants

He is standing ground and not intimidated by the taller neighbours. Great capture.
Harsha
Thanks Harsha....watching the whole scene unfold was fascinating. Most of it is captured on video and the storks didn't really make much of an effort to take away the fish....more like intimidation in hopes the fish would just be abandoned.

Wonderful composition, Eric! The fish eagle seem so serious, while the stork on the right appears to be laughing at him. Great capture, and technically superb.
GENE
Gracias Gene...there does seem to be more than the usual going on here...fun to watch.

Amazingly intimidating capture!
Would the eagle win in a fight? He looks like a James Cagney up against some neighborhood toughs...
I say he'd win in the air, but on the ground they might spear him...
"Oh you dirty rat"...For all Cagney's toughness he was also a dancer...go figure! And I bet the eagle would have danced its way out of this predicament if it didn't have a fish stuck to its talons.

Great capture, Eric.
I'm definitely going for the fish story.
Chris
Thanks Chris and me too....may it was a diversion to get them to look for the bigger fish, or not
