Wonderful composition, Eric! The fish eagle seem so serious, while the stork on the right appears to be laughing at him. Great capture, and technically superb.

Super image Eric. Super pose from the eagle, and good positioning of the storks. A nice balance. If this was Disney, I'd say the eagle ringleader was giving directions to his thuggy stork henchmen.
Thanks Ken...it was almost Disneyesque in appearance....fun to watch the action unfold.

Eric,
It really looks like he is showing them by opening his wings very wide how big the fish he caught was!
Really a sweet priceless picture with a thousand words!

Thanks BB....interesting how our minds work to fit a story to a photo....but once you see the fish he caught you know he was telling a tall tale.

Awesome image with the perfect caption to go with it!
Thanks Mitesh...the storks can be pretty aggressive but the eagle really stood its ground.

Wow, nice shot. There could be a few different narratives to go along with this image. Like heavyweight boxer Joe Frazier once quipped in the 1970s, "I'm a small piece of leather, but I'm well put together."

Thanks Brian...I suspect we could come up with a bunch of appropriate captions for this one.
Glad you liked the shot.

Eric, the fish eagle is a large bird by normal standards but going up against a gang of marabou storks is not for the faint of heart. The more I watch birds the more I think they live a very tough life. Great capture!

I think you've got that right. We romanticize their ability to fly but they do have a rough go of it most of the time.
