This is an image taken with my tripod mounted Sony A7r camera and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens, ISO 125, lens set to probably f11 for 1/25 second. It was taken at 6:13 AM, July 1, 2015 with roses in the foreground and mist at Thunder Hole, Mount Desert Island, in Acadia National Park, Maine. Image processed in LR6.
Totally superb images these last several pages!! Wow!! All the usual suspects and more! Have to say to Bob and Rene, great shots with the new Batis' lenses!! Not helping with GAS gentlemen.....
Been on vacation in the Sierra Foothills for several days so haven't posted...but here are a couple...
These were taken with the A7rM and Summilux M 50 E46 then transferred to my iPhone 6+ via wifi and then edited with the iPhones stock editing sliders! Let me know how they come out?!

Thanks Bob. I asked because my feeling is different between FE55 and FE16-35: much better with the 16-35 but maybe it is for the focal lenght... not sure if there is a technological reason. I'm a bit old style so IMO a good mechanical lens is incomparable.

The Batis lenses are looking very good. Thanks for all the great images Bob and Rene. BTW, the last b&w shots from Rene almost look IR...quite beautiful.
