Timelapse video of sunrise at Mount Rainier reflected in a small lake. I think I've spent two days now cleaning all the mosquitoes out of the 1900 shots that make up this video. Of course I left a few in to give it a real feel
I almost hate to break the mood here with some silly shots. Gary Friedman who writes great guides to Sony cameras told me a simple trick to create interesting illustrations. Download Sony PlayMemories camera apps into your A7 series camera. Install Picture effect+, and select Illustration mode. This is the simple trick. Instead of going out to capture live images in Illustration mode, stay at home and open existing images in Lightroom or your favorite editor and take photos of the monitor screen of any image you want. I can't detect any difference between a live capture and a desktop capture. I did the screen capture with an A7rM and Sony FE 24-240mm off an Apple 27" Retina display With the new A7rII you could make some very large and colorful illustrations.
Great images on this page (as usual - BTW, uhoh7 (Charlie), I was referring to your first BMX racer shot when I said it was outstanding!) #4 of the previous page.
These 2 with the 8-element Summicron-M 35 ('Type 1') on A7R, using a Hawks CF adapter. Taken today, a crisp winter's day here in SE Australia (about 7 deg C, forecast to be 12)
Some more excellent images(as always!)...Manuel, Peter, Dale, Michiel, Lent, and Helena...
I don't think this thread has ever moved so slow...so let's get it going!
