Peire, the last one in particular is beautiful!
Argh, the Rokkor 58/1.2 has been sitting on my desk for 8 days now and still no adapter... The cheap one meant as a temporarily solution is already three days delayed (hope it hasn't gotten lost in the mail) and the Kipon isn't even sent yet!
Oh well, that has given me time to get to know the C/Y 50/1.7 better. Here are some shots:
Thank you Helena.Adapters from HK or Continental China travel to Europe for about 2-3 weeks,so I guess your's is not delayed yet.Just a couple more days.

When I was in school they taught in geography that there are lower and upper clouds. It did take 25+ years, but visiting Tenerife I finally understood it As Finland is very flat country it's not very obvious as all clouds are above you... View from Montaņa Ayosa to Pico El Teide. Photo was taken 2009 meters from sea level, and El Teide is 3718m.

I remember the same view from nearly the same place 15 years ago.Unfortunately I did not manage to get this on Velvia in such a splendid way.And yes,"low" clouds can be observed from above after reaching certain level on the way to Teide National Park. Thanks for sharing.Very nice memories.

Sorry, I was unclear. I bought the cheap one from Germany and they sent it as a regular letter Monday last week saying it'd take 2-3 days. Maybe Customs have put their hands on it. The Kipon is from China and I did indeed expect 2-3 weeks, but according to tracking they haven't even mailed it yet and it's been about ten days. Perhaps it is actually on its way and the tracking hasn't been updated. I guess I'm just impatient.
The last shot with the bird and rushing water is gorgeous Taylor.
Ronnie, I like the cherry blossom tree shot. I noticed you've posted with the Hollywood and the Contax 35 1.4. Care to share how you evaluate them against one another?
Excellent photos Helena!
Very again, Samuli...I'm loving your other type of photography at the moment. Not that I don't miss your trees(because I shoot a lot of trees, too!), but these images are really quite stunning!
Mike...excellent landscapes! Love your colors and composition. And your flowers are really nice, too. Which Zeiss 50?
Here is a small set with the Loxia 50 on my A7rM, complete with starbursts

New Sony user checking in. I received the A7ii in time to explore my first MILC over the weekend, and have adapters for Contax/Yashica and Leica M. Lenses I tried were the Elmarit 28 ASPH, the CZ S-Planar 60/2.8, and the Yashica 50/1.4 ML. I found focus a bit taxing for dynamic subjects (8 year-old daughter) at wide apertures, but that's nothing new for us manual-focus photogs: focus peaking and magnified view can't do the impossible.
Based on past postings on FM Alt about the A7/A7R, the Elmarit seems to do pretty well with the stock A7ii w.r.t. corner smearing and color cast. I can correct color cast and vignetting in post, but did not shooting anything interesting with it. The SP60 is a very heavy lens on this (gripless) body, but produces images for which it is celebrated: 0% linear distortion, smooth b/g blur. The Yashica is like its cousin CZ Planar 50/1.4, but has infinitely superior bokeh and negligible distortion (P50 has a nasty 2%).
