I try and check every day but even that's not enough to keep up - as ever so many exceptional images - congratulations to everyone
Just a couple of spring bouquets (A7 and 100 Apo macro)
(i) in Tibet it simply does not matter what you wear; (ii) the guy in front is sticking his head into a hole in the side of the massive chorten to receive a blessing. As you can see, this is a part of the design, the yellowing around the hole is from decades of yak butter on the hands of pilgrims. FE55 / a7r.

Last days of whatever these pretty red flowers are here in Northern California.

Jim, they're called Callistemon or simply "bottle brushes". They're an Australian plant. I planted tons of them around our house in Brisbane. Here in Germany I also tried to plant a few, but they only survived their first winter. This previous winter they all died. There must be some winter-hard varieties though as the temperatures around Canberra often drop way below freezing at night and they seem to grow well there.
Here are some images taken last evening at the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens. The last image (4) was taken with the same set-up but also with my Singh Ray Lighter Brighter ColorCombo Polarizer; unfortunately the light failed while using the filter after image 3 was taken. All images processed in LR6.
Some more from the day trip out to the coast on Saturday.
The ruins are an old abbey (one of many around Trondheim), which was founded in the 13th century and lasted until the 16th century.
The church was built some time early in the 16th century.
