Nice to see this thread "woken up" again, it was quite slow during winter, but seems we are back to speed. Great photos on last 4 pages I just went through!
Got tired of waiting Finnish spring to happen and went 8 day shooting trip to Tenerife. Short camera related "field report" just after I got home:
- recently A7 price has dropped and they are really cheap = finally got my "dream"; 3 camera & 3 lens kit, no more lens changes on field and I can quickly get field of view I want
- A7 is really light, I can get 3x high quality f/2 lens & camera set with filters, GPS, etc. to fit the 8kg hand luggage air travel limit despite Tamrac Evolution 9 being quite heavy bagback (2268g / 5 lbs.)
- my lens selection for the trip was Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 2/25 ZE (with Metabones III), Zeiss Loxia 2/50 and Carl Zeiss APO-Sonnar T* 2/135 ZE (with Metabones III) - I was slightly afraid that the "gaps" between field of views would be too big (on "paper" they seem gigantic) but in practice this tree lens combo worked fairly well together, and only few times I had feeling "damn why I didn't take 21mm"
- A7 is really small, even with few large f/2 SLR lenses and adapters the 3 lens kit does fit into one sheet of A4 paper (for Americans: slightly narrower and taller than "letter"-sheet) and height of A7:

- Knowing all the lenses (I assumed Loxia 2/50 is G45, I don't know it yet that well) made shooting easy and I avoided taking multiple shots of same target, aperture series etc. and number of shots got quite close to what it was back in film days - not thousands of shots every day like I usually have shoot on holidays (=shooting 10-12h every day), some hundreds of photos all together in 8 days.
So even I did think at first that the size and weight are not that important, but at least for travel it's very good. Originally I got A7 because of better sensor technology than Canon, not for the size/weight - I had no issues shooting all the time with 2x Canon 5DmkII, they did also fit to travel weight limits, but I always wanted 3rd body, which was not an option with air travel (or my back...or wallet...) limits.
On this trip I mainly concentrated to "mountain landscape photography", I spend most of the time above cloud level or just about level of clouds. I can highly recommend nature park Corona Forestal and national park El Teide for photographers. Rural park Anaga is also worth visiting, but I found it hard to take good photos - some details for sure inside the forest but almost all hillviews contain human made roads and houses, so it did not offer much for me from landscape point of view (I prefer landscapes without human made stuff).
It was hard to avoid tourists (I hate them...), but I managed to do it quite well as average tourist tends just to admire view from parking lots, and I prefer seeing things much closer. Also I chose hotel far from tourist hellholes close to beach, and there were no tourists in the hotel (small hotel in Los Realejos, high in the hills).
Hopefully I have time and motivation next week to start processing the photos - until then few random last summer photos:
Contax Sonnar T* 3.5/100 C/Y @ f/8, 1/60s, ISO 100, A7, Leitz E55 P-cir 13357

Leica Elmarir-R 28mm f/2.8 v2 @ f/8 - HDR, turned to freaky as I could not get realistic result out from HDR software, scene just has too much contrast...apologies for damaged eyes
