These are some images taken last evening at the Trexler Nature Preserve Environmental Center, Schnecksville, PA with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M 100mm f2.5 Summarit lens. Images processed in LR5.7.1.

The lens is ok, likely a keeper for me. It's very sharp, even wide open, however also suffers from CA wide open (most of the time fixable, sometimes not). It's doesnt have the contrast of zeiss of course, and the files require a little more processing, however, there's no denying it's sharp. Focus throw could use a bit of improvement, seems a little bit too short for my liking. Really LOVE the size, it's a little longer than the 24-70, but weighs less, and I get a kick looking at the lens..... so tiny for a 200mm. I'm having a little bit of a problem getting super stable shots, and I've got to figure it out still. Viewfinder is a total mess at times, but it could be due to the VERY windy conditions I was shooting in. I'm not sure if it's my head (using a gitzo systematic 3 series CF 3 section), Arca p0 or sony mount or the wind
btw, the water texture shot is cool (assuming it's water right?)...Show more →
Nice shots with the Zuiko 200/5. Is it a late (hard to find) MC version? I have a MC version and the contrast is pretty good, never noticed a CA issue. Sharpness is excellent on my A7r.

no, it's the standard version. Sharpness is definitely excellent. I'll be looking for an MC version, however I dont think it'll match zeiss.
I just recently purchased an A7II from the B&S forum here and have been playing with it non stop. I mainly use canon and minolta manual glass on my fuji XT-1 but I wanted to try some RF glass (ordered canon 50mm 1.2 LTM and 35mm 2 LTM lenses) and am tired of the crop factor without my metabones speed booster.
So far the sony is working out great but I am still learning how to use it and get comfortable with it. I enjoy using the 50 and 35mm LTM lenses at their original field of view as well as their small size.
Here is a very quick snapshot straight out of camera using the canon 50mm 1.2 LTM. Certainly not a great photo but I thought I'd get started with something and say hi.
Took the OM Zuiko 50 1.2 out today and decided to mainly shoot stopped down. Tell me what you think, but this lens holds it's own quite well with the likes of my ZM 50 Planar, with a more , I don't know, "organic" look?? It's very subtle and I really like it...
