More lovely pics, Peter, wow! And, yes, we did shoot together with Bob in Saint Malo, and ended up in Cancale. The reasons we had crèpes are (1) the crèpes we had came from a place voted "best crèpes" in a number of food magazines, and, (2), more importantly, the third person in our party didn't do fish and seafood.
Jako, superlative fog images. Almost ghost-like. A shame they had to be cut off in mid-image, so to speak.
I dig your shots, NavyDoc. First the awesome Chevrolet, and the the barbershop, like a picture from the Anastasia years.
And yous too, Charles, but then, it is hardly news that I am a card-carrying member of your fan-club. How close you can get to that flower with the 28 Elmarit is remarkable. I wonder how close I will be able to get with my ZM 35 and my Hawks'
Interesting idea, having sculpture with an industrial backdrop. I think I prefer the first one, more of a contrast both in terms of shape and colour. Both great shots though!

The materials for these sculptures where given to the artists by the steel plant.
Sebboh's shots with the Rokkor 58/1.2 continue to enamour me to this lens. The only issue is I already have the Cosina 55/1.2 which I also love ! I will have to take some more shots with it to decide which bokeh and rendering I prefer.

Thank you philber. Did I imagine it or did Bob say that he tagged on a weekend of photography with you in Brittany at the end of a business trip. Since then he has shown us dozens, hundreds even, of fabulous shots of Brittany so now I understand why there was no time to sample the oysters at Cancale!
Thank you Peter! Philippe and I (and a work companion) spent the better part of a day in St. Malo with lunch in Cancale but I also had time for a couple of days prior in St. Malo. It turned out to be a very scenic weekend and my first chance to play with a lot of newly acquired glass. I shot something like 1100 images over the course of 2.5 days including the time with Philippe. As for the oysters in Cancale, I guess I'll get them next time!
