Bob Israel, every time I see your posts with the 16-35 lens it makes me lust for one of those lenses!
I thought I'd try my manual focus 24mm 2.8 Nikkor lens for a night time shot this evening with the A7.

At least with the low lake temps, there's a better than average chance that it'll get cold enough for them to open next winter. The weekend crowds were nuts this year - four miles of cars parked along the highway on opening day. I took some vacation and made a day of it last Monday, excellent day for it.
