One cold morning, minus 10C. Everyone's hair gets very thick and healthy in Tibet's winter, visitors too. Most still need a hat or beanie, or hood though. a7r/FE55
Away for 10 days and some incredible additions .. nearly 20 pages since I went on my Owling trip to Inner Mongolia !
Not too many owl shots taken with the Sony However it was always with me in the very deep pockets of my down jacket with the FE55/1.8 attached. It performed admirably even when out for up to 20 mins at a time in temperatures down to -45 to -50C and howling winds ! Even the LCD didn't go down !
A couple taken at one of the amazing sunsets out there on the Steppes .. I've never seen sunsets like them, the saturation seemed to have been turned up by a factor of 5 and they took up to an hour to complete, bathing everything in their golden glow.
Notice the strong winds whipping up the snow/ice in the 2nd shot.
Derek - the only thing better than donuts is donut clouds (#2)!
Rob - very nice shot and love the blue tones... It's great you met up with Phillipe.
Frogfish - looking forward to seeing more from your trip!
I'm not really sure these will look as intended coming from my laptop but here's a set from this past Sunday morning on the beach in St. Malo, France. The last two are with the Loxia 35/2.

until now i was just a visitor and checked the great images in the thread. Before my big jump from Canon 5D2 to Sony A7ii i came regularly here to see the images with the A7 line and finally made the decision. It was my first day with my new camera and it's really an outstanding camera i waited so much.
Another from my Canon 50mm 0.95, notice the rather "special" shapes in the background. The swastikas were actually used in a Norwegian company's logo, and the gate made one year before the Nazis started using the swastika as their symbol. But it's still strange that the gates weren't torn down after WW2.
