Poor thing! ^ Hope he'll feel better soon. I had it as an adult about ten years ago and it was awful.
Very windy yesterday, so I went to the harbor by the fjord with a couple of friends. Taking photos was much more difficult than I expected. Impossible to keep the front lens clean and the clothes dry. Fun though and we were rewarded with great light which made the water green. We could only take photos from this spot, because when we were ready to move on the police arrived and closed off most of the area for safety reasons.
A7 and C/Y 28mm/2.8.
Thank you Gregg! Glad to hear that, because it's my favorite from the day, even though it's a complete failure.
I really like your photos from the Exploratorium. Looks like a fun day for the whole family and you captured it well.
Thank you so much Ronny! Means a lot coming from someone as talented as you.

Just love your shots
Today I was trying to answer the question whether my latest acquisition - the Zeiss Tele Tessar MMJ 300/4 is worth keeping.Looking at the Zeiss C/Y lineup there is some losing of Zeiss character ,(3D,vibrant colours, microcontrast, low level of CA), visible beyond 135mm and this 300/4 is not exeption. But still capable of being very sharp, contrasty and having nice colour rendition. Also 3D can be sqeezed out of the picture with some PP.One major fault is excessive amount of CA in contrasty lighting at f4,but it is minimized by stopping down and easy to remove in PP.OOF blurr is smooth and pleasant. So yes,I'll keep it.
Jack, what a great set !
Gregg, very nice pics from the exploratorium
Helena, great ocean series. I like the mood and atmosphere in the last one the most. Kudos.
Thank you Charles, If SEM 21/3.4 is 90% close to Distagon 21 on A7R I will be happy.
Agree on portraiture with Lux 50. Will try to take more shots with it this weekend. Since I got modded A7R back, we had a week of continues rain in Vancouver, but it stopped today so finally I will have a chence to shoot outside.
Thank you Chris_88! Prcocessed in Adobe RAW, ProPhoto RGB 16-bit mode: 'Camera Standard' profile, contast +12, reduced highlights -15, boosted shadows +20, vibrance & saturation +10, sharpening 40/0.9/70.
Exported to Adobe Photoshop; sharpened, resized in 3 steps (sharpened first 2 steps) to 1600px, convered to AdobeRGB, added frame and 'Saved for Web' with 100% quality.

I've been following this woman for a decade now through any and all weather and thankfully she hasn't gotten annoyed by it yet! Winter 2015 by MikeAubrey, on Flickr
