Your shots are certainly superb. Congratulations!
Using the lens with the Sony LA-EA4 adapter?
How do you like it?
How's the auto-focus?
Care to comment in general on the lens?
Thanks,
Marc
Hi Marc.
I have only had the lens since Tuesday and that was a rainy overcast day. So last night was its first outing for me. It seems very well made and fits the EA4 very tight. Iam certainley happy with my first impressions. I had only had the EA4 adapter for a short time and it seems to work well. The AF doesnt seem very fast, but i would believe its a function also of the adapter. I also purchased the EA3 adapter thinking it gives more AF choices and may be a tad brighter . Ill have to check it out Phoenix aera is in for some rain the next few days, so it may be awhile before my next outing. I didnt need any AF adjust on the A7 with the Tamron zoom, however it looked like my A6000 needs a bit. I have owned lots of long lenses and this one i think will work well for me. Iam not interested in BIF. Hope to get to the Phoenix zoo when the skys clear. Busy weekend here Phoenix open and superbowl .
Some more from Daytona - Thursday practice, a nice Porsche in the Porsche corral, and the Team Seattle / Alex Job Racing GTD #23 Porsche 911 GT America.
A slow day photographically speaking, for me. Just some shots out the window of the office including some window reflections. The construction is for the Minnesota Vikings new stadium, set to open in time for the 2016 season.
The first is with the A7II + Minolta M-Rokkor 40/2 CLE and the rest with the Minolta MD 35-70/3.5 macro
So many amazing shot! Keep them coming please. I missed the golden hour by about 30 minutes this morning. This picture of the Manhattan skyline was taken with a Sony 10-18mm F/4 OSS, at 14mm, with some cropping. I also went to the B&H store in New York to exchange a lens and bought some stuff. This was my first time to visit their physical store and I was amazed by their efficiency and how big that place is and how many people work there!
Great shots everyone!!
A few more from the party with the ZM Sonnar 50 1.5. Most of these are at ISO 6400, I think, btw. I started "street shooting" during the party...taking grabs of lots of diff people.

This is basically sooc from RAW...We switched the "Fro" up!!
Last set from Daytona - a classic Porsche 962, walking the grid / speedway before the start, and night racing. Finally, though the car I was there to cheer on - the #23 Team Seattle car - sadly fell out of the race the night before due to mechanical problems, its sister car the #22 Weather Tech / Alex Job Racing car took 2nd place in the GTD class. It was only about 8 seconds behind the first-place car, after 24 hours of racing.
A7ii with: FE 16-35 (1, 2, 4), for the rest I just can't remember, I didn't take notes at the time. I also had the ZM50/2, G90/2.8, and CV180/4 with me, so one of those
