Yeah, I know, Bob, and Michiel too tend to do this to people. Manuel, in order to stop them, you should tell them that some new, very expensive lens is fantastic. That keeps them quiet for a while. But only for a while, and then you have to buy another fantastic, very expensive lens to do it again. You can say that this is as much GAS as what comes from them, and as expensive or more, and you would be right. But at least, it would be YOUR GAS and not theirs. Just my $0.02.
This and that from around town. A7 with C/Y 28/2.8 and 85/2.8 (the last two). The creepy sculpture is located outside a hotel. I wonder what they were thinking! Maybe I have a morbid imagination , but to me it looks like someone who has been stuck in a meat grinder...
Some of my lenses are on the marketplace here if someone interested... (Nippon-Kogaku 105/2.5 P.C. S mount->NEX, Pentax-A 50/1.2, Leica-R 60/2.8 in nikon mount/small fungus, Mamiya C 80/1.9 N, Pentacon 135/2.8 15 blades zebra version). Need to stop LBA and sell some lenses that I´am not using so often.

We all know that GAS is very contagious. I'm convinced that mine came from Gregg, Peire, Michiel and a few others. My GAS seems to have diminished . . . seemingly, so has my wallet!

Very interesting project... were it is possible to see the results? Do you have an Internet site or a Flicker account? Thanks.
Manuel
Hey Manuel, thank you for the kind words. I have just started this for 2015. Here is the link. Crazy thing, I am actually making a "print" of each image! Haven't done that in awhile!
Yashica lenses with autofocus are rare and little-known animals. Their production has been stopped after only a few years before Kyocera manage to fully extend the line. As the result only a handfull was produced - fixed focals - 24 / 2.8,28 / 2.8,50 / 1.8, 60 / 2.8 Macro and a few zooms. Among the independent producers , only Sigma has made a couple zooms with this mount.
Optical design of Yashica AF lens is different than manual ML series. Yashica AF bayonet looks at first glance like a Minolta AF, although it is not the same. All fixed focals , as well as part of zooms strikingly resembles the first Minolta autofocus lenses, although according to the data available are a bit different from each other.
Sharpness, contrast and color reproduction is, I would say, the same as the Minolta AF lenses,so the one I really like. Overall a very good optics in a robust and neat package, cheaply. My only criticism is narrow and uncomfortable focusing ring. Fotodiox Pro adapter is very good quality , doing quite well with manual iris control.
