Just moments ago, the mailman arrived with a box containing my new Loxia 35/2. It's so damn cold outside so I had to fire off a few indoor pet shots. Nothing to judge by but wanted to share.
How long did you have to wait before the lens was warm enough not to fog up? :P

Only took about 5 minutes with a blower!
I decided to venture outside . . . wasn't as bad as I thought.

Bob, please-please take some pictures directly on the Sun or at night lights to see if the rays of light are so clean as the Biogon just bought by Gregg... Thanks, thanks, thanks
Manuel
Manuel, it might not be as clean. While I'd hardly call one image a test, this is not nearly as clean a result as Gregg's biogon but I want to see what some night shots look like. This one was at f/11. A few others just for kicks.
Edit: We don't know what aperture Gregg shot his image with the biogon above but both show some sensor reflection. Again, I wouldn't put too much stock in my shots as I was mostly just focusing on getting used to the lens. I'll try to get some night images tonight.
Peaceful view from a very quiet point...
1st and 2nd with Sony-Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 (2nd 5 stitch)
3rd with Canon FDn 35mm f/2
4th with Canon FDn 24mm f/2.8

Thanks again Bob... sorry my question but you are outside connected to Internet posting immediately?
Ronny - nice work with the Zeiss Makro, one of my favorite lenses of all time.First Snail shot is my favorite
Bob - Work with the Laxio looks good as well as with the 16-35 Zoom that will be my next lens purchase, i think it will make a great interior real estate lens.
Mike - Beautiful color in your sunrise.
Michiel - Great comp with the Contax Zoom
Here is a quick grab from frigid Ohio - Cows were inside today

My observations of this inconclusive test:
Loxia makes better stars
Loxia has better microcontrast
Loxia has least distortion
FE16-35 - weakest in the corners
