This photograph is absolutely outstanding. In every respect.Just perfect.Even the cover page of National Geographic would not be good enough to host it.
Ha ha - thanks Peire (and Charles, Ronny & Gregg - Clearwater), you are all really too kind
Actually I tried to upload it to Nat Geo a few weeks ago but the colours were all wrong, really horrible in fact. I tried uploading in sRGB aRGB and ProPhoto and none of them looked right at all
Bob. It's a good exercise to compare your FD50/1.4 and Zeiss 16-35/4 ... even just on this page. The FD shots just have way more pop - maybe it's just that some lenses just suit certain conditions perfectly and your FD 50 loves snow and city shots taken at night
sculptormic: I have Kipon and Kiwi Leica R adapters ... Kipon is cheaper than Novoflex and better build quality than my favourite KiWi adapters. With Kipon I didnīt see any reflections with vario-elmar-R 35-70/4 or APO-telyt 180/3.4.

I think I need to shoot under same aperture to really compare. The FD50/1.4 was shot at F/2-2.8 whereas the FE16-35 was wide open at f/4. To be fair, we would need to compare apples to apples. Both perform very well!
Lightshow...awesome car shots!!
Jack...Love those shots...very artistic!
Couple from today when we rode the Steam Train at Roaring Camp, Felton, Ca
