Last night, I also took out the FE70-200/4 and captured some Minneapolis skyline shots looking down the Mississippi River. It was the first time using this lens on a tripod.
Bob, I have a weakness for night shots but these reflexes are simply amazing
Yesterday I went to see newly opened, huge Aquarium and Africarium in the local zoo.So many beautiful ocean fish, turtles and animals there.Too bas the A7 and manual alts are not suitable to photograph quickly moving sharks, diving penguins, rays, wrasses, manat, seals and others.
What I saw at the entrance was the diver dressed as Santa, cleaning the aquarium.A7+nFD 24/2
Penguins seemd to like the weather outside.A7+nFD 135/2
That pair of hippos apparently felt so comfortable, that they decided to increase number of their local population.A7+nFD 135/2.0
Christmas day shots from my son's engagement celebration!
I am still loving the A7s and FE 55. The ease of quick AF, silent shutter works so well, in being unobtrusive.
Excellent images , everyone. This thread hasn't stopped to amaze me.

Congrats , Charles! I agree with you entirely. Yes, the A7 II with its IBIS and better user interface is nice but still, I am enjoying the A7s tremendously.
I have to say, I'm really enjoying the A7II vs the A7r. I can't put my finger on exactly why but I love the grip and the shutter is so much more pleasing to me. The A7r shutter was such a big 'cha-chunk'. I just find myself having more fun in both street shooting AND tripod shooting where I formerly relied on the Fuji XT-1 for the former.
Some shots with the Minolta 35-70/3.5 while running an errand.
