Bob: You make great use of the 16-35mm. Nice to see that lens finding its way into the capable hands of a growing number of FM forum members.
Michiel: That light and shadow contrast is beautiful. Did you shoot this wide open? If so, it further confirmation of the great performance of the CV 21 1.8 on the a7r.
Pinholecam: Great captures of the temples in Kita-Kamakura. I visit Kamakura quite frequently. You've certainly managed to capture some of the more beautiful spots in that area.
Werner: That lake shot is a total stunner. I tip my proverbial hat to you.
Here are two recent ones from me; the first shot was taken with the FE 35mm. Rovaniemi ロヴァニエミ by Alpha 2008, on Flickr
This shot was taken with the 16-35mm. The clouds only started to disappear a few minutes before the bus left, meaning I scrambled to get a few decent shots. I'm not sure whether I hit focus perfectly with the by-wire MF mechanism of the 16-35 (I greatly prefer old-school MF) and ISO 6400 didn't help matters, but I still like the colors. Bob, you really make that 16-35 sing. Interesting that you are waiting for the Loxia 50, which I have, while I am waiting for the zoom you have.
Michiel, your shots are awesome, the 2 from Galeries Lafayette, and the 2 from the Eliasson exhibit.
Ronny, you should be called the Dislocator for your repeated effect on my lower jaw.
Werner, your shot made me green with envy. Very beautiful indeed, and not easy to find composition either. Wow!
I took this picture at Hokkaido this October. I am experimenting with ICM lately so please bear with me. I mainly used A7r with Contax C/Y 28/2.0 and 128/2.8. And if slower shutter speed was need, I added a B&W ND 3.0 filter. When longer focal length was desired, I switched to Nex-7.
Fantastic images from all posters these last few pages. I've been working a lot this Xmas, so I haven't had too much time to post and like!
Here are a few recent images.

Not much time to post pics but here is one shot of my son ..day 25 of his life /now is 6 months/ ... I know ..so late in PP It was shot in wife parentīs garden with created photo stage from a lot of sun-flowers. A lot of mess in the car when transporting them to location.. Daylight from above + 2 Elinchrom Ranger Qadra A heads both only on pilot bulbs for light him from close distance.
Thank you, friends, for the many likes (i think i never got that many) and for you nice and positive comments on the "Tramonto" shot. I have to be honest, it is good for the photographers soul....
Werner and Bob...you guys and the 16-35 are killing me! I haven't taken more than 20 pics in the last week because of Xmas work...(I'm a UPS driver,in an affluent bedroom community of Silicon Valley, where all my soccer moms order EVERYTHING on line!!)....and your images with the 16-35 are incredible!!! Maybe after Xmas I'll rent one from Roger and see if I can replicate your success!!

Gregg, I'm sure you'll be looking forward to the end of busy delivery season! But it's thanks to guys like you that make us happy when we receive new gear! I've only had a few limited opportunities to shoot the 16-35/4 but I really want to test it out and see if it will replace my zeiss primes. It appears to be that good to me. I have the next couple of weeks off from work so I plan to play!
