From a walk in the woods at noon yesterday with A7 and C/Y 28mm/2.8 (#2 is f/2.8 which is why the edges are a bit soft).
I only saw the sun once during the whole walk - the rest of the time it was below the horizon or behind trees. Really looking forward to longer days now. Btw. it was -12C. Coldest so far this winter, but still mild compared to normal winters.
Some fantastic images here, can't name them all, so I won't even try. I'll keep this brief since this is an image thread, but I hope to be adding some myself. I went back and forth, had an a7 on the summer, really liked, but very uncomfortable to use due to the shutter. Have an a6000 sitting on my desk right now that I like but handling wise, it's a little too small and light, viewfinder is small compared to the a7 and the images here have a special 'pop' that the a6000 is missing for my eyes.
So I bought the a7ii from B&H, just waiting for it to come in. Thinking of keeping the a6000 around because it's cheap, has quicker AF, and thinking of just using FE glass on it. Still have to think about it since I think if I get the a7ii, the a6000 won't ever be used!
Looking forward to joining all of you fantastic photogs, and happy holidays to all!
Two shots with the Zeiss Loxia 50mm I used from Philippe on our short meeting in front of the Louis Vuitton museum. It was nice but to short.
Very nice lens which did not need much PP.

So this week I was fortunate enough to get the A7II and the FE16-35/4. Well, due to the short days and this thing called work, my shooting has been limited to my walks to work. So, high ISO, slow shutter, wide open shots to learn what this combo can do. I must say, I love the camera and know I'm going to love this lens as well. I'm surprised at the star pattern formation wide open. Other lenses required f/8 and smaller in my experience.
