Great images, everyone. Manu, your image is not displayed properly. It looks like the link is an https... .
Here are more images from a very recent visit to Myanmar. You have not been to Myanmar if you have not been to Inle lake, the largest fresh water body in that country. I stayed 3 days at this location. What a wonderful but exhausting experience. We got up early before dawn, took pictures at nearby fisherman villages, markets, monasteries, temple ruins, etc. the whole day until evening and we also did some astro photography until late for 3 days.
These local fisherman row with their feet (alternating, of course) to free up their hand. Their fishing technique is also unique. They slap water with their paddle or use a reflector to scare fishes and lure them into their net. They also use some sort of "cage" to trap fishes rather than using bait.

AGeoJO, your pictures looks familiar.
were you featured on NatGeo's instagram account?
To a certain degree, images from Inle lake are similar to each other. At the end, you can do only so many variations of the basic moves of the fishermen. The weather and/or atmospheric conditions do change and they do make the difference in colors. But to answer your question, no, I wasn't featured there.
More test Minolta MD Zoom 35-70 and 135 MC f2.8
think there are a lot of CA from 35-70 WO
didn't fix it in these shots..but for 75 euros or 90 U:S dollar and the lens is in very good condition .. not bad
will be interesting to test when there is better light and weather..but of course I was looking for macro version .. Only myself to blame ISO range from 200-1000

Shifting from Zeiss to Minolta or other non Zeiss, good quality alt lenses, things like veiling, more CA,lower microcontrast and the likes may at first be discouraging. However, one quickly finds out that fixing those is no problem and what's the most important, you get access to the new, different and interesting world of image rendition in turn.
BTW:My two 35-70/3.5 macro MD's haven't been used for year now
Hi Ronny and Peire, your images taken with Minolta lenses are really awesome ! I bought a few Minolta lenses in the last several months, too and they are great. Maybe clinically not as good as those of Zeiss, for sure they are different but they render nice images.
Here are a few more images from Old Bagan, Myanmar. The first one was taken from the first morning I was there and the other two from the following morning. Two different moods, for sure. On the second morning there was a dense layer of cloud covering the sun that didn't breakup to my chagrin. Above that thick cloud layer it was clear and the sun bright light was over powering without any filtering like on the first morning. Anyway, two different mornings at this location resulted in two different effects of the sunrise.
On the 4th The outline of the sun, since I was using a 50-ish mm lens for that image is actually smaller than implied. However, due to the light intensity, the surrounding area of the sun became over exposed as well, creating a sun "circle" that appears significantly larger than the lens of that focal length would normally yield. If I go back next year, I will take a hot air balloon on one morning for sure to get a different perspective.
