Isn't the OM 35/3.5 mc a micro 4/3 lens?
Olympus "OM" lenses are for the old Olympus OM 35mm film bodies. The lens used for my shot is the OM 35/2.8 Shift lens. Mine is the later multi-coated version:

Thanks Chris...it's really a fantastic lens! And it IS very sharp. Doesn't quite have the look that my Contax 35-70 did, but it is damn close! I had tried to unload the MD in the BS forum, with examples, but no one wanted the lens($100)...which I was shocked!! So, as I've decided to minimize my lineup, I kept the MD, and regrettably sold the Contax 35-70!! But, the Minolta does hold its own...
Nice images above...especially the Contax 35 shot!

Thanks, Gregg. That's nice to know. I was surprised, because it sells for about the same amount here, too, which made me wonder. Looks like a pretty good deal, considering the performance.
Btw, the pictures I'd posted before were taken with the Sony Zeiss 35. I don't have any Contax glass at this point.
Nice pictures with the Mitakon, in particular the second one with the maple leaves. The DOF of the Mitakon wide open is crazy shallow. I'm impressed with your ability to nail focus, the margin of error seems to be very small. I had briefly rented a 75 Lux and found it hard to consistently nail it wide open.
Helena: Beautiful sunset pictures. Very impressive.
Three (plus 1 cropped version) from the Sol Duc valley of Olympic National Park. All with A7. EXIF intact.
#1: Drivin' up the Sol Duc.
#2: The approach to the salmon cascades. Water level is very low here.
#3: An overview of the cascades as a coho salmon makes her way up.
#4: A crop to provide a closer view of the salmon & her struggle.

Yes, it is, but I practice a lot!! And I don't have any AF glass at the moment! But trust me, I do miss, too!
Werner....nice macro of the nut! The detail is incredible!! That R 100 is a gem!
Here is the last shot with the Mitakon 50...a portrait, taken wide open...

@Gregg, The last pic of your son has every kinda glow from lens they talk about. One to print large and frame it.
I am in pursuit of best fast 50 (1.2-1.4). I have been thinking that I should just get summilux 50 asph. It's more expensive then probably all the good 50ish lens all together (zuiko 50 1.2, rokkor 58 1.2, cannon 55 1.2 asph and L). So the confusion. 35 summicron on a7 does feel great and just feels like lens sized for a7. Does anyone have some input. And, it may help GAS of I just buy the most expensive one believing its the best available (in my limit).

Thank you very much!

Look into the CV 50 Nokton 1.5...great lens, very sharp, with excellent bokeh and 3D pop, and it's small to boot! Probably the closest comparable lens to a 50 Summilux.
Steve Huff did a few comparisons on his website a while back. There is also the CV 50 1.1...but I have no personal experience.
Bob...incredible images above. Great colors!!
