Haha, I believe you are right, Rob. I used it recently in a studio and I walked away impressed. But, there is a but, occasionally I noticed some flare coming from the back hair light when it was to close to the frame. The light stayed stationary but I moved around a little to change my position a little bit hence the position of the incident light also changed relative to the camera. Yes, the lens hood was used. That’s my only nitpick...

Actually, the flare is part of the reason I like mine. I shoot with it a lot indoors and at night, and having point light sources ghost is an effect I like. Occasionally I’ll head out with a black net filter to accentuate the effect. Used normally, you have to be aware of it and maneuver to avoid it like we did back in film days. But I appreciate it can also be used creatively as a feature.
