I have had several B&W IR cameras in the last 6 or 7 years, from the Sony A6000, A7III, A7RIV (a disaster with the banding in sky), to the Canon R5 I have currently. The Canon R5 uses different sensor AF methods, the banding in sky basically doesn't exist.
