This was captured before the pre-capture days in Ecuador and boy, it felt so good to be able to get it. But now it pales compared to the shots using the pre-capture feature... Oh, well...
A trip down memory lane - some mountains and monastic sites in Ladakh and Tibet using Zeiss lenses from (my opinion) their golden age, dating from 1970 to 2000. Digital ended this phase of the company's history, along with their camera ranges. Lenses used for these images: 28/2.8 (1976); 35-70/3.4 (1985) and 100-300/4.5-5-6 (1990). So I guess we can call them 'vintage', as they are 50, 41 and 36 years old. I still have them all.

Christmas color variation on an eyelash viper in Costa Rica. Another photographer was actually taking flash macro so I dialed it wide open to steal some b-roll... 😎📸🐍
