Three years ago I joined the Sony side with an A7RV used to document my brain cancer patient niece’s Make-A-Wish trip to Disneyworld. Yesterday I posted a fresh set of images from our trip with her two weeks ago at WDW where we celebrated the 3 year anniversary of that event. It’s in the People forum if interested: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1933430/

Ross, your niece looks like an excellent fighter! I wish you, your extended family, especially your niece, the best!
Here are a few early signs of spring from yesterday at the Westfalenpark (shot with the Zeiss Batis 135). Honestly, it doesn’t quite feel like spring yet.
^ Cropped from distagon 35/1.4 ZM. Best one worked when it was a much smaller crop of the overall image. Probably better to try it with some adapted vintage lenses.
I have a mir 24h (35/2) but it's a bit long adapted to the a7cii, plus some wiggle when focussing that I don't feel on the fm2n:
I think the canon 35/2 might be good but issue with the bearings will lead to a headache. Maybe the minolta 35, or an old (or classic design) leica m mount one.
Not as good as film, but more freeing: ibis, iso, metering, focussing, getting the photos back etc. And it's easier to carry an additional lens than a lens+body if I want to take the sony anyway.
The pain is shifted to post processing but there's not really a way to get around that anyway so might as well bite the bullet.
