This may not interest most, but I love beautiful, old doors. I found this one in a dark hallway in the Army Museum near Napoleon's Tomb. 10mm.
I admire beautiful old doors too.France has infinite number of them.Especially villages and little towns in my favourite regions (Provence,Languedoc-Rousillon,Aquitaine).
Sometimes I concentrate on photographing doors alone, but usually put them into some context.

These are environmental shots of the SE Texas prairie farmlands near where I live. The past couple of years have been very dry, and it has had an effect on these scenes. There haven't been as many. Most of this land is in private ownership, so shooting from the roadway is the norm. Sometimes they will be closer to the road. I found Sandhill cranes, geese that are primarily snow geese, and a large group of Pintails a couple of miles down the road. The pintails were a bit closer. The fields had some water in them. Many of them are rice fields in this area.
Been a little while since we've seen temps above freezing, so my son put some food coloring in water balloons, then removed the balloons for some cool looking ice balls on our deck.
This image was taken in Rockport, TX in '23 - just before "upgrading" from a a7rm3 to a a7rm3a.
It was a wet and foggy day and the birds were really far away from the boat we were on. 'Just about the worst conditions.
Interesting, mom, pop, and Jr. stayed very close together. At least one of them had their head up with a watchful eye. After a while Jr. started squawking and they all took off.
