Thank you very much! Yes, it's Iceland. The last two were taken near Vik, not sure where the first one was taken. The country is so picturesque. As a matter of fact, a lot of my favorite pictures from Iceland were taken just off the road whenever I saw something appealing and the light was good. It's not always easy to find safe space to pull over because many roads are narrow and have no shoulder.

Douglas, this set is superb, and #3 is one of the finest Iceland compositions I’ve seen, so perfectly balanced and aesthetically pleasing. Print and hang!
Thank you very much Ross! That means a lot! If I recall correctly, I didn't use an ND filter for this trip, I used the "smooth reflection" app in the A7RII. It took multiple pictures and combined them in camera to create the ND filter effect. I wish Sony still offered the app in the new cameras.
Because of your marvelous images from Utah, I am starting check out different locations in Utah and hope to make it there sometime this year. My first landscape trip this year will be in Oregon in April when we go to cheer for our daughter who is running the marathon there.
I went to DC again last night to shoot the fireworks but it was a total bust due to operator error. I switched from AF to MF to lock in the focus once the focus was achieved, at least as I thought. It turned out the firework shots were all misfocused. I will make sure I won't make the same mistake when I shoot the 4th of July fireworks this year. It's going to be a big display for the 250th anniversary. I went to a different location last night to shoot the images projected on the 555'-tall Washington Monument. It was visually stunning in person. I am fairly certain they will do something similar for 4th for July this year.
The lighted structure to the left bottom of the Washington Monument in the background is the Lincoln Memorial.
Mayflower, I think

100% agree Re Iceland is so picturesque. I did exactly the same thing, taking most shots just off the road whenever I saw something beautiful. I had to tell myself to move on cz I’d see beautiful landscapes everywhere. The only thing is, I had to use my iPhone…I did not bring my camera as I have a bulky Nikon system. I’m finally switching to mirrorless because Iceland reignited my passion to pursue photography again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful images!
