Thank you very much Jim! I enjoy your pix from Alaska! It's been 19 years since we last went.

Zhangjiajie NP really is a magical place, other worldly is the right description. It wasn't well known in China until 20 some years ago, I think. It was very difficult to get to but now they have an airport in and high speed train to the city near the park. I went there in 2023 and 2024. The weather was too good during the trip in 2023, no clouds, no mist. It rained for the most part during my second trip but when the rain stopped and the sun peeked out, it was magical. I snapped hundreds of shots during the 2-hour window. Here are two more.
