Sunset in Alkmaar, a small city in North Holland. The glorious sky at sunset that evening, the reflection of colorful sunlight on selected surfaces, the fairly smooth water reflection, etc. created this image.
A couple shots of hummers today through a double-pane window. Seems like the activities are pickup again after a relatively quiet July. The first shot is a young male whose neck (gorget) color.is starting to change.
Took a hiking trip to Shenandoah NP for a couple days, bad timing as it turned out to be a heat wave and I should have carried less camera and more water...
