Some shots from a local garden this morning.
Gorgeous images, Douglas! I think my favorite is the second image, the single upright flower with the faint red against the monochrome. That one is poster-worthy, or maybe a 20X24 print on a wall, IMHO.
Would you be willing to divulge any of your technique and post-processing here?

Thank you Peter! I play with selective color once in a while. With that particular picture you mentioned, the following adjustments were made in Lightroom,
The key is to play with the color mixer to desaturate all colors except red. All other adjustments above do not have much to do with the main characteristic of the final look.
I am posting several shots again. The first one is the unedited color version, the second one is the selective color version. And a few more.

I see Douglas that you use GM 300/2.8 +2xTC for flower shots as well.
Yes, I do. I knew there would be dragonflies at the garden so the 300 GM can be good for both flowers and the dragonflies. I may try the 400-800 tomorrow.

Beautiful! Thank you for the details and additional images. I will work them through.
It's been very busy on my end; but I have something new and fun to play with. I got myself an anamorphic lens; the Blazar Mantis 35/2 1.33x
In practice this turns 61MP images into 80MP images.
Tima. Will soon be 17.
On May 3, his girlfriend passed away, she was 8 years old, did not come out of anesthesia after the operation. And he somehow abruptly gave up his positions. He sleeps next to me, face to face.

One year after purchase I took all my compact Sigma Contemporary primes for a stroll to find they still deliver.
Beautiful set, Peire! I bought a Sigma 35mm F2 a while ago for the A7RC I owned briefly, I don't think I have used the Sigma once. Need to dig it out to play with it a bit.
Went to the lotus garden again this morning. I was drenched after an hour. It was so muggy.
