Attempt at macro. This is a syrphid (Hoverfly). About 5mm long. Taken with Laowa 90mm. On-camera flash with macro diffuser. Two shot stack (it flew away).
Lion King show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Tamron 50-300mm is not a lowlight lens but it worked well here with great sharpness and solid AF, and the image quality of the A7RV at ISO 12,800 always surprises me, plenty good enough for my fun vacation photos.

Thank you very much Jim! Next weekend there will be a big WWII warbirds show in Reading, Pa, a Messerschmitt Me 262 REPLICA is supposed to be flying too. No original ME 262 is still airworthy, so even a flying replica will be something to watch.

Out for a hike a couple days ago along this scenic mountain creek. My favorite time of the year to capture flowing water with the lush green foliage and when the runoff flow is not too strong. I've been working on some recipes in Lightroom to get a similar look to Fuji Velvia slide film that I used to use many years ago and I think these come pretty close.
If you like Velvia colors, you should try Darktable - it`s got a module to "emulate" Velvia look. I usually process my photos in C1 and at the end run`em through Darktables Velvia and Local contrast modules for the final touch
Nicely captured flow, love the C21, surprised there isn`t more love for this little gem of a lens.
My Sony A7iii's shutter died during a shoot a few weeks ago (I'm having it repaired by Sony) so in the meantime I'm using my "B" camera, an original A7s. Only 12 megapixels, no IBIS, and a bit more primitive, but I still really like the images I get from it. Here are some from a recent concert of Cajun music, using M-mount rangefinder lenses (mostly MS Optics 73/1.5 Sonnetar and ZM C-Sonnar 50mm/1.5).

So jealous of the biking infrastructure that much of Europe seems to have.
Don't be jealous. This biking infrastructure is often organized in an idiotic way, ideologically favored (save the planet!), contrary to common sense. So that other road users, such as cars and pedestrians, are discriminated against.
