Osprey sightings were reported here and indeed, we saw an osprey that just circled around above the water but it didn't dive to catch any fish. Instead, an egret provided a consolation price this morning. Oh, well....

All kinds of visitors yesterday. Bridal parties, various portraits being taken including one guy who had found a corner of the garden, away from everyone but with good light. He was doing boudoir portraits.

Nice display of typical Batis colors.. Some say there is no such thing as Zeiss colors, but for me the Batis and Loxia images often have such nice contrast full and punchy colours.. Nice!
I've read many negatives about the Batis 40, but images I've seem always attract me.
