Thank you Birdie! We were expecting more freezing rain this afternoon, so I bought different flowers and put some of them on the deck again. It was a bust because the freezing rain shifted north from us. We got a few drops.
Thank you, Doug! It was snowing hard the whole time, covering my gear completely in snow. My hands, yes, I was wearing insulated gloves, were cold, making it tough to operate the camera. I experienced similar circumstances at Bosque years ago but it was only for short durations. Here I did it for almost 2 hours and I had to hike up to go in and to hike back down during heavy snowfall for 45 minutes one way. I am too old for this sh*t 😜 but was it worth it? YES! But the camera gear worked like a champ, without a single hiccup!
Voigtlander 35/1.2SE. I turned off all in-camera corrections to see what I would get.
Two different looks at the same scene - first one at f11 and the second wide open at f1.2. Heavy vignetting with this lens wide open! But still (in my opinion) looks good for a landscape.
