At one time the Great Green Macaw was common but driven to endangered in Costa Rica. A lot of them were trapped and caught for "export" to all over the world. Supposedly, there are only 200 of them living in the wild. We considered ourselves lucky to capture a few that were feeding in their natural habitat on the last trip to CR almost a year ago...

Thank you very much for your nice comments! Yes there are some bars, where you can drink the local beer. It's a very nice town. You also have outstanding photos.
