A new to me Sigma 105/2.8 macro arrived yesterday. I've never owned a true macro before and am excited to try it out.
The first two images are from my wife's garden that is just sprouting. First is a beet plant and the second a flower I don't know the name of. Besides the macro capability, I tried it out on our dog too. He's a good model.

The new lens looks great! I have one also but really need to put it to use, or sell it.

Excellent, Douglas! Especially that last one 👍🏼
Thank you Ross! I am mostly done with autumn foliage in our area, continue to admire all the foliage shots you are posting.

Great shots Douglas! I especially like #5 and 7
Kinda remind me of air show shots. Except nature’s air show 😄
Thank you Robert! It's fun to watch them fighting over fish in Top Gun aerial combat fashion. A few more from yesterday.
I pulled over photograph a hawk which turned out not to be a hawk and these guys/gals were grazing. Since I have the 300GM for a limited time, why not snap a shot or two.
