Tholing Monastery, West Tibet, a 10th century site still going strong. (I bought an Ultron 28/2 recently. If it does not shape up big, I'll be using this 28mm - the CY 28/2.8.) For comparison, last image is from CY 21/2.8. I've never seen CA from either, perhaps from the glass lead they most likely contain.
Just 2 cents. I think in these the 28mm frames at the limit of too tight for conveying the open feel of the place, and 20-24mm would allow the viewer a desirable feeling of standing back, even if shot from closer.

Douglas, I love your work with this lens !! You make me want one🙀
Thank you very much Birdied! It's a fun lens even though I only use it a few times a year (flowers in spring, autumn leaves and Christmas lights). For some reason I have never been able to get sharp subjects with this lens, not that I don't know how to use MF lenses. To achieve the bubble bokeh effect, the background needs to be some distance away from the subject. I liked this lens so much that I bought the 35mm version too but haven't found a good use case for the 35mm yet. Maybe I will try the 35mm again next month for Christmas lights.
Lovely Fall colors, everyone! I miss that change of season color blast here.
Finally got out on Monterey Bay this year. Lots of action, but I missed both breaches, because they occurred off of a different side of the boat. Always lovely to be on the water and remember how small we all are...
