Very nice, Joshua! That's the kind of wildlife captures I prefer to see. I can't stomach watching a big mammal eating another big mammal live...An eagle eating a fish is probably my limit

I’m the same! I’ve owned the Planet Earth collection on blu-ray for 16 years and never watched it 🤣

I watched the DVDs a few times. I guess watching the action on TV is OK for me but watching a big mammal eating another big mammal live in person is not really my thing, even though I eat meat.
Went to a botanical garden with over 300 ginkco trees in Virginia this mroning, dug out my Trioplan 100 f2.8 for some bokeh fun.

I watch on a 160” screen so that stuff would feel a little too real for me lol!

Douglas, I love your work with this lens !! You make me want one🙀
Thank you very much, John! Long time no see/hear! The Halloween activities were in full swing at Bakersfield, I see and those are awesome images!

I greatly appreciate your kind words, Doug! If you go on safari to Africa, your best bet is to get a variety of wildlife images. Hunting or wildlife chasing is exhilarating, even if you don't get the peak action images or if the action is too far away or even if the predator ends up giving the chase up. Devouring the prey is indeed a different story...
Your fall color images are gorgeous, Doug!

Birdie, thank you very much! I am glad you like that image. I enjoy your fall color shots! I assume they were taken not too far away from your new location. Well, by this time, I am sure you have settled in completely.
