I did two different shots of this scene - one at f2.8 and one at f11, both focused on the colorful green branch in the center of the frame. I like both, but my wife prefers the f11 image.
12-24GM.
Anyway here is the GM 50mm f1.2 with Topaz sharpening applied to it...Please take a look at the 100% image link below and perhaps let me know your thoughts https://www.flickr.com/photos/196459816@N06/54039018818/sizes/o/
Its late here in the Uk so chat later
Good info, Barry. I have the 50/1.2 GM which is just superb in all ways, so for now I’m holding off on an 85 since it isn’t a true need. If used prices go lower during the next year I might grab one to play with.
Macro is a hobby of mine that I continue to try to expand on. Taken with the a7rii, Sony 90mm, Nisi 77mm close focus asapter, and diffused flash. Critiques and comments welcomed!

From early yesterday at Blackwater Falls State Park here in WV. I enjoyed the morning shooting with Douglas Liu. It was a foggy morning and the fall foliage had not yet peaked but I made a few images that I liked. Steve
