Thanks Douglas. Having done the descent in the winter for many years, I knew what I was in for and it was as bad as I anticipated. 6 inches of ice on every step X God knows how many steps. I don't own a pair of crampons but wish I did! It's always worth it though. Hope you're doing well! Steve
