Beautiful mushroom shots, Olaf! I sold my Sony 90mm macro but the 70-200 f4 GII Macro will arrive tomorrow. Hope to be able to find some nice looking mushrooms to try it out.
Hummingbirds from this morning.
Thank you, Douglas! Beautiful hummingbird shots! I am amazed how you can capture them as they move so quickly (at least the ones I have seen some years ago). Have fun with your new lens and please show some pictures taken with it!
Glad they are keeping up on maintaining this beautiful covered bridge. At least they are working on the opposite side this week. Last week I had quite a surprise when I got there.

I'm looking for a hundred or so trip images for a book and thought I would share this one I came across. It's shot through the FE 55, but it's the kind of image I'd now shoot with the CV 50/2 APO.
Sunrise over a sunflower farm this morning. We had a thunderstorm this afternoon so I was hoping to see a rainbow over the farm but no luck. This farm is 5 minutes drive from my house so you will be seeing quite a few sunrise shots from the same location the next two weeks

In my working days, local contractors and the union that I belonged to, donated time and materials to build
this metal/pipe tree for the local zoo, to give the giraffes some shade.
I didn't work on it much, but I have a few welds on it.
(that was years and years ago, but hey, it's still standing)
