My family and I spent some time this past weekend at a cutting horse competition held at the local covered horse arena. Intending just to grab some snapshots, I brought along my A7RII and the Tamron 28-200. it was my first time viewing this kind of event, where the riders and horses were judged by their ability to separate a cow from the herd and keep it from rejoining the others. Colorful, talented riders and amazing horses. Fun shooting. In hindsight, I should have brought the Batis 135 on my A7RIV, but the Tamron superzoom performed pretty darn well on the RII. Processed in Lightroom with DXO DP3. The images are tack sharp at full resolution. Steve
