Yesterday, I finally brought a tripod with me on a drive up the Quinault River.
I've been wanting to capture this waterfall properly for a long time and something always was off -- no tripod, sun shining through the scene making the subject patchy, too much rain . . . the reasons to not get the shot were always against me.
Yesterday the stars aligned with bright overcast skies with just a hint of drizzly rain. Perfect conditions -- and the tripod in the car!

Taken on a mountain hike today, wildflowers in full bloom at higher elevations and pollinators doing their work. a7IV with 90mm 2.8 Macro G, handheld, with patience to wait for this little fellow to face the camera, the wind to stop, and me to hope that the little I could see on the screen in the bright sun would work. I wish I had a bit more DOF, but I'm happy with these.
I did not realize the evening sun would appear in this scene as I was setting up a composition of the lovely falls and rocks, but when it did I was quite happy :-)
