A few shots of the ceiling (supported by I-beams, with overhead heavy glass panels of blown glass "ornaments" and "shields" arrangements). I spent quite a bit of time photographing the variations within the multiple panels. My wife and pregnant daughter are shown in the last image, marveling over the beauty above.

Yes it was! That was before the trees were blown down by the storm

The Chihuly Garden with its distinctive glass sculptures in "natural" settings, reminds me strongly of "The Southern Reach Trilogy," by Jeff Vandermeer. Some of you may have seen the movie, "Annihilation," the first book of the trilogy. Having read the trilogy, I can't help but find colorful analogies to the author's "Area," a sort of expanding alien sphere on Earth.
