Considering the smallish size and weight but yet, fairly fast aperture, the performance of that lens competes well with its bigger brother, the Art Series 14-24mm, albeit offering shorter focal length range on both ends. That’s what I meant with lowly. Stopped down for landscape purposes, that lens delivers in gobs…

First red-eye-bomber flight since ages - nothing I would be missing. But like in the passt I carry a camera with me, and with the A7II paired with the Samyang 35mm F2.8 this is my X100V. Had the Fuji for almost a year but was rarely reaching for it (apart from the Almalfi series), and when I did, mostly used the EVF. If I had an A7c it would be even closer. Black and White in Camera with a slight adjustment to the sky, lifted the shadows a bit and some clarity in Lightroom.
Hitting my closest (wish it were closer) little waterfall, this time after a much larger rain event. Maybe a little more water than I'd like, but better than the more anemic flow I found the prior 2 visits.
