I have taken images of the fountains at Bellagio quite a few times. While trying out a new lens recently, I included some spectators in my composition for a change. I raised the camera as high a I could and I composed using the screen.

I like the look of this with the spectators Joshua. How are you liking that 16-28 Sigma?

Thank you very much, Dennis! So far that lens has been doing what I expected out of it. I would prefer taking my existing Art 14-24mm DG DN on this trip but it is simply too big and too heavy. I considered the PZ 16-35mm with its longer reach and roughly the same dimension and weight but I wasnt too excited about the f/4 aperture. Whether I actually need the f/2.8 aperture remains to be seen but my main zoom lens is the GM 24-70mm f/2.8 II. So, both zoom lenses have the same aperture. Plus, 2 fast but smallish primes and i am set.
First shot with the 20-70 - a friend's Labradoodle (Sandy) taken while walking on Ripon Tor, Dartmoor. It was an accidental JPEG (had inadvertently moved the mode dial to MR3 and was wondering why the focus setting had changed from adjustable spot...)

Most of the snow is gone now, but almost everything is boringly brown and gray (dead stuff from last year). Looking forward to green leaves, flowers etc., but we may get new snow next week.
