I went out just after midnight to do some lunar imaging...but saw this fellows shadow in the trees off my back porch. Quick change of gear and I was able to capture this fellow! He obligingly sat still for the whole 13 sec exposure

Amazing shot, Cathy! 13 second exposure? Unbelievable!
Was in Tennessee for my mom's 93rd birthday last week. Bald River Falls was pretty boisterous! It's a favorite day trip for us whenever I visit her. We usually stop at the excellent local bakery in Tellico Plains then drive up the river for a picnic and the falls. Makes for a very nice day. Steve

Great images Steve. ^^^ Your mom is beautiful and looks fantastic. 93 and still going strong. 🙂
The light playing along the forest floor in this Redwood grove was what caught my attention. I spent some time here with my tripod low to the ground. This image is one of many but probably my favorite. A7R3 with Tamron 17-28/2.8.
^^^^Love your photos in the redwood groves. All of them. The dappled light and the 20mm perspective are just wonderful! And thanks for earlier comments. Steve
